G. Loomis IMX Steelhead Float Spinning Rods are designed for those anglers who prefer to float fish with spinning reels over casting reels. These rods have the length to get your lure/bait where it needs to be while maintaining the control and the power to reel the fish in once it is on.
IMX Steelhead Float Spinning Rods are balanced nicely with a comfortable swing weight. You will notice how light and well balanced it is at the end of a long day on the water when your casting arm isn’t tired out.
Sensitivity and length are key when your bait floats down an extended drift and the G. Loomis IMX Steelhead Float Spinning Rods have both. The 1262 model is great for small to medium size rivers or streams, lighter jigs and floats and works great for lower/clearer water conditions you find in the summer time. The 1363 model is a great choice for fishing big rivers or streams, using slightly larger jigs and bait rigs, and fall and winter fishing when the water is higher and the fish are bigger.
